Questions About Buying a Cavoodle Puppy
Most of the questions we receive fall into a handful of categories: cost and what's included, health and veterinary care, the reservation and collection process, and what to expect once your puppy is home. Yes. While we love families visiting us in Mulyandry, NSW, we regularly place puppies with families in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Canberra and regional areas Australia-wide. We can help coordinate a pet-safe flight with an approved airline or a professional ground transport service, at the family's cost. Contact us to discuss options for your location.
No dog is 100% hypoallergenic, but Cavoodles are widely considered allergy-friendly because their wavy-to-curly Poodle-influenced coat sheds minimally and traps loose hair and dander rather than scattering it. Many families with mild allergies do very well with a Cavoodle. If allergies are a serious concern, we strongly recommend spending time with an adult Cavoodle before committing.
All of our breeding parents are vet-checked, DNA health tested for breed-relevant conditions, and our Cavalier lines are eye-certified annually. Every puppy is desexed-age-appropriate vet health checked, microchipped, vaccinated (C3) to an age-appropriate schedule, wormed fortnightly from two weeks of age, raised inside our family home with daily handling and socialisation, and sent home with a puppy pack (food, blanket, toy and full paperwork). Yes. Every puppy is sold with a written health guarantee covering genetic conditions for a defined period after collection, alongside a 72-hour vet-check period so your own vet can independently examine your puppy. Once you've chosen an available puppy, submit a Puppy Application or contact us directly. We'll confirm availability, answer any questions, and secure your reservation with a deposit. The remaining balance is due at or before collection.
An F1 Cavoodle is a first-generation cross of a purebred Poodle and a purebred Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (roughly 50/50). An F1B Cavoodle is a first-generation puppy crossed back to a purebred Poodle, giving a coat that typically sheds even less and suits allergy-sensitive households. Most of our Cavoodles reach an adult weight of around 7-12kg and stand roughly 30-38cm at the shoulder, though this varies with the size of the Poodle parent (Toy or Miniature). Each puppy's profile includes an estimated adult weight range based on parent size.
Yes. Our litters are whelped and raised inside our family home in Mulyandry, exposed daily to household noise, gentle handling, children's voices, other resident dogs and everyday life - not in an isolated kennel. This early socialisation makes a real difference to how confidently a puppy settles into a busy family home.
Absolutely - visits to meet the puppies and their parents are welcome by appointment at our Mulyandry, NSW property. For interstate families unable to visit in person, we provide extensive video calls, photos and updates instead.
If all current puppies are reserved, you can join our waiting list via the Puppy Application form. We'll contact waitlisted families as soon as a new litter is confirmed, in the order applications were received.
Yes, for the life of your dog. Many of our families stay in touch for years - we're always happy to help with feeding questions, training hurdles or just to see how your Cavoodle is growing up.
Each puppy receives a C3 vaccination at around 6 weeks of age with a veterinary certificate, and a fortnightly worming program from 2 weeks of age through to collection. Full details and dates are listed on each puppy's individual profile page and provided in your take-home paperwork.
Yes, every puppy is microchipped prior to going to their new home, and registration details are transferred to the new owner as part of the paperwork provided at collection.
Our puppies are sold as companion animals on a limited (pet-only) contract, desexing-appropriate under veterinary guidance, unless a specific arrangement has been discussed and agreed in writing in advance. Please contact us directly if you have questions about this.
We recommend bringing a secure car crate or puppy carrier, a towel or blanket for the trip home, and, if travelling any real distance, some puppy pads and water. We'll provide feeding instructions and a small supply of their current food to ease the transition.
Every puppy profile on our Available Puppies page includes an individual temperament description and personality tags - some puppies are more outgoing, others more laid-back. We're also happy to talk through your household, routine and experience level to help you choose the right match, or recommend waiting for a future litter if none of our current puppies suit.
Yes - once your application is confirmed, we'll arrange a secure bank transfer for your deposit and send written confirmation of your reservation, expected collection date, and remaining balance.
We understand circumstances change. Please contact us as early as possible - our deposit and cancellation terms are outlined in your puppy contract, and we'll always talk through your options directly rather than relying on a rigid policy.
Because puppies settle best with a consistent, stable home from day one, we don't offer a formal trial period. Instead, we spend as much time as needed answering your questions before you commit, and recommend the independent 72-hour vet check as your opportunity to confirm your puppy's health with your own vet shortly after collection.

No - Chloe's Cavoodles focuses exclusively on Cavoodles, bred from a small, carefully selected group of purebred Poodle and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel parent dogs. This focus lets us specialise rather than spread our attention across multiple breeds.
The choice is entirely yours. The names on this website (Andex, Jasmine, Jasper, Kutie and so on) are simply what we've called each puppy during their time with us - feel free to keep it or choose a new name once they're home.
Puppies typically go home prior to the age recommended for desexing. Your puppy contract outlines our position on desexing timing, and we're happy to discuss recommended timing with you and your vet based on your puppy's individual growth.
We genuinely love hearing how our puppies are growing up. Many families send photo and video updates for years afterwards, and we're always just a message away if you have questions - see some of what our families have shared on our Testimonials page.
