Temperament: Less Difference Than You'd Think
Within the Cavoodle breed specifically, individual personality and early socialisation generally have a far greater influence on adult temperament than sex alone. Both males and females are typically affectionate, playful and people-focused.
General Tendencies (With Caveats)
Some owners report males can be slightly more consistently affectionate and eager to please throughout life, while females are sometimes described as slightly more independent - but these are broad generalisations with plenty of individual exceptions in both directions.
Size Differences
Males can run marginally larger than females within the same litter, though the difference in a breed as small as the Cavoodle is generally minor compared to larger breeds.
Desexing Considerations
Desexing (spaying or neutering), at a time recommended by your vet, tends to have a greater impact on behaviour than sex alone - your vet can advise on appropriate timing for your individual puppy.
